The Mongolian Horse, the Girl and the Therapist is the debut of author and systemic equine-assisted therapist Hesther Selbeck (1982).

Hesther’s life takes a turn at the age of 28 when a vision of Mongolian horses floods her mind as she’s standing in her kitchen. Out of a desire to share her experiences with the world, she began writing books and articles and giving lectures.

Today, Hesther lives with her family and works alongside her herd of horses, including her remarkable wild Sorraia horse Mira, in the Serra da Estrela mountain range in Portugal.
