Tekst achterflap

The awe-inspiring debut of one-of-a-kind photographer Stacii Samidin

Raw honesty, radicalism and unfamiliar territories are the foundation of the work of photographer Stacii Samidin (b. 1987). At the core is the essence of seeing, hearing and accepting a human being without prejudice and judgement. Documenting the lives of minorities, the oppressed and those with unorthodox lifestyles all around the world in his life’s work Societies, he challenges our perception and raises the voices of the unheard or silenced through photography.

With a text contribution by Tracy Metz and an introduction by Koos Breukel and Hedy van Erp.

Publication accompanying the exhibition at Galerie Weisbard, Rotterdam, from 26 April until 17 May 2025.
